✴︎ FAQ ✴︎

Who is this mentorship for?

This mentorship is for artists, writers, and creatives at any stage of their journey who are looking for support, reflection, accountability, and a deeper relationship with their creative practice.

What if I don’t consider myself an artist or creative?

I know COUNTLESS, INCREDIBLY TALENTED people who have been creating for YEARS and still don’t consider themselves “artists.” Owning this identity is complex, murky, and often tangled up with self-consciousness. As an artist myself, I get it.

I believe creating is a deeply human, innately natural way of understanding and processing the world around us. Creativity moves through each of us in different ways and different seasons. With this mentorship, we create a container to explore what this one-of-a-kind process looks like for you.

It’s less of an “Am I?” and more of a “How do I!” question

What can I expect?

Each session begins with a conversation. We explore where you are, what is calling for attention, what feels stuck, and what wants to emerge. You’ll receive tailored prompts a couple of days beforehand to help guide our discussion + action plan.

After each session, you’ll receive a personalized one-page PDF with reflections, prompts, exercises, resources, and practical next steps. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions by email between sessions.

If you choose a package, we’ll build on each session over time, allowing your ideas and projects to deepen and evolve.

How long is each session and where do they take place?

Sessions are 60 minutes and take place virtually via Google Meet or Zoom.

In-person sessions in Toronto can also be arranged at your studio, home, a café, park, or other location. An additional fee will apply based on travel time.

What is your approach?

My approach is rooted in curiosity, care, and conversation. Together, we listen for what is emerging, follow the threads that cause a little (or big) spark, and create space for your ideas to take shape.

Sometimes that means slowing down and returning to the source of inspiration. Sometimes it means creating structure, asking questions, and taking practical steps toward bringing a vision into form.

There is no single way to create. This work is about discovering the rhythms, tools, and practices that allow your creativity to move through you in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

How do I book a session?

Once you’ve filled out the mentorship form, I’ll be in touch by email to find a date + time that works for us. Your session is confirmed once payment has been received.

How do I pay?

Payment is made by e-transfer once we’ve agreed on a date. I’ll send payment details when we book your session.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Sessions are non-refundable, but if something comes up and you need to reschedule, your payment can be transferred to a future session. Please give as much notice as possible so we can find another time.

How long do I have to use my 3-session package?

Three-session packages must be used within 6 months of the first session. This gives us enough time to let things unfold while keeping some momentum and accountability around your creative practice.

What if i’m not sure which option is right for me?

That’s okay! You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out. Fill out the mentorship form with what you’re looking for, and we can figure out together what kind of support makes the most sense.
